Presentation Mason’s Wooden Gavel & Block English Oak

A very distinctive, handmade, unique classic mason’s presentation wooden gavel and matching striking block in English Oak, with great grain. The base has a raised striking plate within the base and room for engraved plaque.  All my gavels are made to be used and are not just ornamental. You will love this gavel and block which has served many Masonic lodges, CEOs and our armed forces throughout the world.
Designed and made by me in Shropshire not mass produced; each of my gavels slightly different and unique, beautifully finished in beeswax so the natural beauty of the wood shines through.
The bottom of the base is covered with black wool felt.
Personalise
There is also an option to personalise this gavel, just select this option when purchasing the item.  The plaques are in good quality jeweller’s polished brass and the engraving is laser cut and I mount these in place for you.
A small plaque for  one line, medium plaque for 2 lines and large plaque for 3 lines of text or a logo/emblem.
Size
The gavel hammer is approximately 272mm or 11 inches long or end to end, sizes vary according to the piece of wood I am working with as I go with the wood.
Care Instructions
Best kept out of direct heat and sunlight. Dust and polish occasionally with beeswax to be rewarded with a deep shine.
Delivery
If you select a personalised option please allow extra time for  your engraved plaque to be ordered and fitted.
Most of my gavels can be personalised just contact me with your requirements or add your instructions for the engraving on check out as a message. Or if you need to include a logo just email me or use the contact form. If you have chosen the personalised option your item will be dispatched following completion of the personalisation.
Items are sent 1st class post, airmail or courier. Overseas customers are responsible for paying any duties that may apply. We recommend using next day delivery for postage due to the value of the item, but of course 7-10 days will be needed for the engraving and mounting process, but when ready it will then be sent next day delivery and we will confirm dispatch.
All packaging is recycled where possible and is free. Postage is at cost.
