Handmade Slimline Wooden French Tapered Rolling Pins

Individually handmade French style slimline tapered wooden rolling pins available in a choice of woods, while stocks last. These unique pins are ideal for making good pastry, good to use, have more control of your roll and roll perfect circles with more ease. Beautifully shaped pins in a range of woods great to just go and bake. Get your Bake Off on! I choose the wood especially. Each rolling pin is slightly different, lovingly finished with food safe oil. An ideal gift for anyone who loves the unique quality, grain and colours of natural finely crafted wooden items. Any loose knots I always fill for hygiene reasons some pins have characterful knots in the wood that do not require filling and are just part of the natural beauty of wood. None of these particular pins have any filled knots.
My rolling pins have the Tommy Woodpecker Woodwork logo on the end wherever possible, so that you know you have a Tommy Woodpecker Woodworks original. The pins are wrapped in red tissue paper a card is attached with  red ribbon that tells you the wood and has the care instructions to keep your pin pristine so always gift ready!
Size
Most of my wooden handmade French style slimline tapered rolling pins are approximately 510mm in length and 35-40 mm in diameter  at its widest centre point, but may vary slightly as they are handmade and I go with the shape and grain of the wood. These are slimline and light to use. The beech is the heaviest of the three pins. The weight is given for each pin on each description, the weight at the bottom of the page is due to the Medium parcel weight cost not the weight of the pin itself.
Care Instructions
Hand wash only, dry quickly and apply a little food safe or proprietary oil to your pin, in time the oil layers permeate the pin but up to that point, lightly sand or scour with a scouring pad followed by oil your as necessary. A little extra care in the early years and perseverance with oil treatments will reap great benefits, you will be rewarded with a beautiful rolling pin that will serve you well for many years to come. All items are carefully packaged to ensure they reach you safely and have labels and care instructions, gift ready and dispatched  1st class post, courier or airmail.  Overseas customers are responsible for paying any duties that may apply. The weight shown at the bottom of the web page includes all packaging in order to calculate postage costs. Due to the length of these pins they are classed as medium parcels by the Royal Mail and they arrived securely wrapped and packaged. Packaging is free, postage is at cost according to the weight and distance.
