Handmade Japanese Yawara Stick Selection of Wonderful Woods

£19.99£39.99

Martial arts, traditional Japanese wooden Yawara sticks in a selection of beautifully grained woods. The Yawara name has been used interchangeably with Jujutsu. Handmade, great ergonomic design, to fit the palm of the hand, strong and smooth to the touch, each one with its own unique character. Each designed and handmade by me in my workshop in Shropshire, the heart of England. I go with the wood so they all vary slightly but none are longer than the recommended length. Stylish unique, steeped in tradition and martial arts. Each one of my items is slightly different and totally unique, finished with wax polish to let the natural colour of the wood shine through.

These Yawara sticks are all  approximately 125mm long or 5 inches end to end some have a larger contact area than others, see the individual description for details.
